transmediale and CTM’s Vorspiel is a program of distributed partner events in the field of digital art and culture and experimental sound and music, where a variety of partner venues invite local and international audiences to a series of exhibition openings, performances, interventions, artist talks and special events across the city of Berlin.
An initiative piloted in 2010, each year’s Vorspiel series invites participating partners to develop programmes reflecting on CTM and transmediale festival themes.
The Vorspiel programme will take place ahead of CTM and transmediale festivals and continue over 6 weeks. An opening event on 18 January 2019 at ACUD MACHT NEU will showcase participating venues and invite representatives of the city and local scene to participate.
We are happy that the next Abelton user group Berlin meeting on January 23rd, 2019 will be part of the program.
